Situated 45 miles southeast of Tucson along I-10, US Hwy 80,
AZ Hwy 90, and the main line of the Southern Pacific Railroad,
Benson continues it role as an important trade hub. The town was
established in 1880 when the railroad came through Southern Arizona.
Now, with a public school system, two private schools, a library,
golf courses, senior citizens center, museum/gallery, hospital,
and plenty of historic and scenic attractions nearby, the town
has much to offer travelers and residents.
